Elevate 215 reserves the right to refuse to post or to remove any information that is, in Elevate 215’s sole discretion, unacceptable or undesirable. This applies both to general users, who may post profile information, and school users, who may post school jobs. By uploading content to profile, including your resume, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant to Elevate 215, only to the extent permitted by law, an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, fully paid, royalty-free, worldwide license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, perform, display, reformat, translate, excerpt (in whole or in part) and distribute such information and content and to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works, such information and content, and to grant and authorize sublicenses of the foregoing. Indemnity
As a condition of use of the Website, you agree to indemnify Elevate 215 and Elevate 215’s partners from and against any and all liabilities, expenses (including attorneys’ fees) and damages arising out of any and all claims resulting from your use of the Website and the materials (including software) thereon, including without limitation any claims alleging facts that if true would constitute a breach by you of these Terms of Use. This indemnity shall include, without limitation, any claim of inaccuracy or defamation based on materials that you submit for use on the site.

The Website may contain links to school and third-party websites. These links are solely to assist users in applying to jobs, finding professional development opportunities, and leaning about certification and educator preparation programs, and you assume sole responsibility and risk for your use of links to third-party websites. The accuracy or reliability of any of the information of those resources is not endorsed by Elevate 215.

Elevate 215 shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to make improvements and/or changes in any aspect of the Website at any time and does not accept any responsibility for the effects these alterations may have. Elevate 215 also reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove terms of this agreement at any time without notice. You agree to review this Agreement periodically since such changes, modifications, additions or deletions shall be effective immediately upon posting and your subsequent use after such posting shall conclusively be deemed to be acceptance by you of such changes, modifications or deletions.

Information We Collect
Personal Information: Personal information uploaded to TeachPHL.org will not be shared with schools and third parties unless you voluntarily choose to allow employers or third parties to search and view your information and recruit you to apply to jobs.
Non-Personal User Data: The Website logs non-personal data such as IP addresses in order to help us understand which content is most visited, analyze trends and patterns, make the site more user-friendly, and improve security. We only use this information in aggregate and do not link it to you personally.
We also collect generic information about our visitors to better understand which browsers they use, how many times various pages of the site are visited, and other trends. This information can include “cookies,” which are small data files that assist in the collection of website-usage information. You may disable cookies in any web browser, usually by going to the browser’s “Preferences” page.
Customer Service Correspondence: We may collect information that identifies you personally when you submit information to join the newsletter list or through the chatbot function. In such cases, we will not share your personal information with third parties but may use it to reply to your submission.

None of the information described above is ever shared with third parties, unless a user has granted explicit permission, except for vendors who contractually may only use the data for the purpose of assisting in the operation of TeachPHL.org.
Vendors: We occasionally employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include updating and maintaining the Website platform. These vendors have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but may not use it for other purposes.
Third Parties: We may share personally identifiable information that you have voluntarily provided to TeachPHL.org with third parties only when users have permitted or requested that we do so. An example would be you selecting the option to allow schools administrators to access your profile information and recruit you to apply for a job. We never share your personally identifiable information with third parties for the purpose of marketing, sales promotions or other advertisements intended to encourage the purchase of products or services.
Change in Ownership: If TeachPHL.org becomes the property of new ownership, whether by merger, sale of assets or otherwise, the new owner(s) will be bound by the current Terms & Conditions in perpetuity in regard to personal information collected up to and through the date of the ownership change.
Governmental Orders: We also may have to release personally identifying information when it is necessary to comply with judicial or other government subpoenas, warrants or orders, or to protect the rights, property or safety of TeachPHL.org or its partners.
Removing Your Personal Information: If at any time you want your user account shut down, you may inform us and we will work promptly to remove your account.

Mobile Terms of Service
Last updated: Dec. 5, 2024
The TeachPHL mobile message service (the “Service”) is operated by TeachPHL (“TeachPHL”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
By consenting to TeachPHL’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of TeachPHL through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).
You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with TeachPHL. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.
We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.
You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You’ll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other TeachPHL mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.
For Service support or assistance, email teachphl@elevate215.org.
We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.
The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
We respect your right to privacy. To see how we collect and use your personal information, please see our Privacy Notice.
